Dear brothers and
sisters in Christ
I’m writing to you because I know you are someone who loves the
Bible and longs to see others discover its wisdom, saving power and meaning
for people’s lives. Scripture Union in the New Year launched ‘WordLive
which is a new ministry website, making the bible available to people
of all generations. It has a wonderful variety of ways of getting into
the Bible including a more reflective approach, more serious deeper study,
discussion based questions, more visual (including film clips) etc.
Scripture Union have taken the brave step of making this a free resource,
already thousands of people are using it. But this new ministry venture
needs both sponsorship and individual donations to sustain its impact
particularly on a younger generation.
I commend this resource to you and ask you to consider giving, individually
or as a church.
